After some 10 years working in the Engineering Sector in Leicester, our business was started by Mr Alan McDougall, way way back in 1981, he and two business partners got together and formed a company,  calling it City Engineering Services Ltd.  They focused on delivering Specialized Engineering Solutions for Quarries, Factories and various Heavy Industrial Manufacturing Plants all over the UK.​

Considerable growth throughout tough economic times meant we had a much larger product range and so in 1998 with the UK explosion of the Pneumatics Power Industry in full swing, the company decided to partner with a then up and coming high quality Italian manufacturer called Camozzi. You could say a mini makeover was in full flow, now with a new logo and trading name, enveloping two of the core products we sold the most on a daily basis, Transmission and Air products, in fact its the same name we now use today, City Transair.

Over the years many staff have matured and retired to rest with a few more McDougall family members now working for the company with a small dedicated team of 5 who look after all of our customers needs. Still no large departments, no red tape, just hard working technical sales people to give our customers the very best, we like to make it personal.
